Miss Inked up Tour 2014
Well, it is finally here, the Miss Inked Up Tour 2104. The Inked Up Tour started this past weekend at the 2014 Motor City Tattoo Expo in Detroit. Sullen Clothing and Rockstar Energy Drink have released their 2014 tour schedule and artist list. If you remember our past interviews with Miss Inked 2013 models Cat Marini, Kristen Holley and winner Jessica Seamons you know what to look for in 2014.
The tour kicked off with tattoo artist Timmy B from Tattoo Afterlife (Huntington Long Island NY based Tattoo Shop) and his custom can design (shown below). Heck take a road trip to an expo and see your favorite artist and meet some of the models trying to win the title of Miss Inked Up 2014. Continue reading Miss Inked Up Tour 2014
Upcoming Tattoo Conventions and Shows
One of the most common misconceptions with today’s tattoo collector is that an artist needs to be on TV in order to be good at tattooing. This type of thinking is so far from the truth and we can thank all these TV networks for making people think this. Sure there are some talented artists on TV, we have interviewed some over the year but your local shops across America are full of talented artists waiting to tattoo you. Usually, legit shops are the only ones who have a strong enough clientele to afford legit advertising. Look at shops websites! Usually, all the artists at that shop have their work on their sites be sure to match that work with their in-house portfolios to make sure they are not stealing others photos. All in all though yes , word of mouth is the best form of advertising , always will be. Continue reading Need to find a shop?
