Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s you were a Star Wars fan. Star Wars became part of us growing up and one of the strongest characters in the saga was Princess Leia. She was played by Carrie Fisher who suddenly passed away on the 27th of December 2016. As Star Wars fans cope with her passing we decided to pay tribute the best way we could, by remembering the Princess with ink.
This weekend was the 12th Annual Ray Price Capital City Bikefest in Downtown Raleigh. The tradition started back in 2003 when Clear Channel Entertainment and Curtis Media Group approached Ray Price to come up with a way to increase attendance at the TWC Pavilion at Walnut Creek (at that time it was called the Alltel Pavilion). Ray Price was able to sell out the venue and a Raleigh tradition was born.
